Language and literacy hold a special interest for Diana Kelly in both work and study. After a year of supervised internship at Boston’s Massachusetts General Hospital, in 1994 she became certified as a Therapist for Specific Reading Disorder, specializing in the Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory approach. She subsequently worked for 3 years at one of the nationally renowned Scottish Rite Masonic Children’s Learning Centers in Lowell, Mass.
Excellence and Professionalism
Diana’s background includes the M.A. degree in Language and Literacy, which she received from the Institute of Education at the University of London in England. She has taught Language Arts and Social Studies as a classroom teacher in New York City, Adult Literacy in the South Bronx, and ESL in New York City, and Rio de Janeiro.

Ms. Kelly has worked as a reading remediation tutor for L.D. in Mass. public schools, in N.Y.C. at the Suny Optometric Center Learning Disabilities Clinic, and since 1994 has maintained a successful practice as a reading tutor for dyslexic people of all ages, from 6 to 60.
